CRITICISM CLASS A criticism class was held by the department of natural science under the guidance of our Head of the Department, Sreedevi miss on 22nd and 23rd of February 2023 in Sabarigiri College of Education. We the nine teacher trainees took classes.  The duration of the class was 45 minutes. The class was followed by the criticism by teacher and the other teacher trainees. The class was taken by using learning aids. My topic was "Types of Ecological Interaction" from the Unit Diversity for Sustenance of class 8. I explained the different types of ecological interactions such as predation, Parasitism, Mutualism, Commensalism and Competition.

Every year, International Mother Language Day is celebrated on 21 February .  Read on to know its history, significance, and theme. Every year on February 21, people around the world celebrate International Mother Language Day to encourage linguistic and cultural diversity as well as multilingualism.       Our college NSS Union has conducted a programme based on the international mother language day to enrich the importance to save mother language. The programmes presidential address was given by our principal Dr. Meera Raj mam. Welcome speech was delivered by farther Thomas kuttiyil. The programme started with a welcome dance by the college dance group. Then there is also a group song by teacher trainees.The union also organised SA writing competition and recitation on the topic international mother language day. The programme was literally a remembrance of International Mother Language Day.

CANCER AWARENESS PROGRAMME In India, the incidence of cancer is increasing rapidly; therefore it is important to step up cancer literacy and knowledge amongst the population. Cancer awareness is the key to early detection and better health-seeking behaviour. Cancer is quite common in both developing as well as developed countries, but awareness is yet poor among the general population. Poor awareness may lead to poor uptake of screening modalities and delay in diagnosis. One factor that has been consistently shown to be associated with late diagnosis and treatment is a delay in seeking help for cancer-like symptoms.  The poor awareness level among the Indian population shows the need for health education and sensitisation regarding cancer and its different aspects. This will be helpful in the successful implementation of health programmes related to cancer. Vani Jairam   (born  Kalaivani ; 30 November 1945 – 4 February 2023), also credited as  Vani Jayaram , was an Indian  playback singer  in  South Indian cinema . Vani's career started in 1971 and has spanned over five decades. She did playback for over one thousand Indian movies recording over 10,000 songs.  Vani died following a fall on 4 February 2023, at the age of 77. In tribute to vaani maam, the Ahava 22.24 FM conducted a tribute on 8th February Wednesday at 2.00 PM at General hall in College. We conducted a group song ,remembrance speech by our teachers and a silent prayer.
