National Cancer Awareness Day - Subject Association Activity 3

As a part of Subject Association Activity 3, National Cancer Awareness Day was observed on November 7, 2022. The importance of the day is to create awareness to diagnose, treat and detect cancer. 
The programme was conducted by the First year natural science students under the guidance of Sreedevi ma'am. The programme was anchored by Shilpa. 
Welcome speech was given by Pinky and introduction by Navami. Importance of the day was given by Ameena and theme was presented by Anjitha. A brief on the different types of cancer and its treatment was given by Neethu. Diagonisis and cancers preventive measures was presented by myself.After the video presentation was displayed by Devika and the poster was presented by myself. 
The activity was concluded with vote of thanks by Anjitha.

TEACHING PRACTICE FIRST PHASE WEEK 8 WEEK 8 : Monday to Friday  27/11/2023 to 1/12/2023            Reflection on School experience  I reached the school by 9.30 am and then signed the attendance register and were alloted substitution classes. 27/11/2023 The first day, I had a class in 9C during the fourth period  and I took the topic named "Vital Capacity and Tidal Volume" from the unit Breathing for Energy of their biology textbook using activity method.  I was alloted substitution in 7B and 6 D during the third and sixth  period respectively. I made 6D students to  read a Malayalam poem from their Malayalam textbook and 7 B students, a drawing competition. The school dispersed after the national anthem at 3.30 p.m.  After the class I reached  the office and signed the register. 28/11/2023 It was holiday due to cluster meeting for teachers. 29/11/2023 On the third day I  reached the school by  9.30 am.
