Field Trip- Semester 2

On 26th July 2023 we the teacher trainees of second semester BEd.
Our field trip was to kanyakumari. 
The main objectives of the field grip was to study the importance of field trip as an excellent method and supplement to provide first hand experiences and meaningful teaching.
We started our trip at sharp 5.25am from college. We began our trip seeking the blessings of God. 
Upon reaching Neyattinkara we had our breakfast from irani hotel at 7.30am. After breakfast we commenced our journey to
Thirparappu water falls. We reached the spot at 9.30. The place was beautiful and serene. Around 11.45 a.m we reached thakkala Palace. We immersed into the historical stories that the chambers of the palace held. 
Our guide explained us the historical importance of the palace and the architecture that outsmarts time. 
We left the Palace by 1.00pm and started our journey to kanyakumari. We had our lunch around 2.30 from a restaurant at kanyakumari. Thereafter, we went to Vivekananda rock at 3.15 pm. It was indeed a great experience.

We took  pictures from vivekannda rock and had our tea from triveni restaurant at 5.30 p.m. 

Then we went to see the sunset and was alloted time for shopping. We spent around one hour for shopping.

After 7.30, we left kanyakumari. We had our dinner at 10.30pm from irani Hotel and reached college by 1.00am.

The study tour was a great experience for all of us. We developed an interest towards nature and felt how important the education from the outside world is.
