Theater practice

Theater in education is a process that uses interactive theater or drama practices that contributes a lot to the educational process.

As a part of the BEd. Curriculum  our college conducted a theater practice session under the guidance of  Sri. Priyata Bharatan. We were blessed to have the presence of our beloved principal and Revathy miss, our beloved teacher.

The session began around 10.00, seeking the blessings of the almighty.

Tejas, a teacher trainee represented all of us and thanked all the dignitaries for inspiring us with their presence. 

 Welcome address was given by beloved principal. Following the welcome address principal handed over the mike to Priyatha miss. She began the session by 10.30. The class was filled with interesting activities. First activity was a sound modulation activity, which we really enjoyed. 

Following that we were given an activity to present a word accompanied by an emotion. 

As a third activity we were asked to select a situation and enact it .

Theatre in education allow students to observe different scenario in a supportive controlled environmentment.

In the afternoon session she taught us to write a script and divided us into 5 groups. 

Each group performed drama and based on current social scenarios. Our principal attended the entire session. It was altogether a wonderful experiece.
