Reflection on School Experience 
9/10/2023
We the teacher trainees alloted to A.M.M.H.S, karavaloor reached the school right at 9.30am. After signimg our register we went to the staffroom for prayer.
After the prayer we were alloted substitution classes.
Second period I went to 8D for substitution. Since it was a class alloted to me I took class on the topic " Pest and their Natural Enemies". 
In the following period I got substitution in 8D again. I took class on the topic  "Integrated Pest Management'".
During the fourth period I had class in 9C. I taught them the topic "Role of Haemoglobin in transport of Oxygen". I gave them homework and asked them to study few topics from the chapter Breathing for Energy.
After the fifth hour we went for lunch. In the afternoon session, during the sixth period  I went to 7A for substitution. I conducted a story telling competition, the winners were awarded prizes as reinforcement.

After the eighth period the bell rang by 3.30 p m. After the national anthem  we left the school by 3.40 p.m.

In the second day we reached the school by 9.30am
I was not alloted any substitutions for the day. I had a class during 5th period according to the time table given to me. I asked them few objective type questions from the chapter "Breathing For Energy". The students were so curious in answering.  We had our lunch after the fifth hour. I got some time to write Blog and reflections. After signing the register we left the school at 4.00pm.

11/10/2023
In the third day we reached the collage at sharp 9.30 am.I had no class today but  I got substitution in 7B during the first period and took the attendance as the class teacher wasn't present. I gave them some activities. After lunch we the teacher trainees were invited to correct the answer papers of a quiz competition.
There was a good number of participants. The students seemed enthusiastic and too interested in the work.
By 3.30 p.m after the national anthem the school dispersed.

CURRICULAR AND CO CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES
The students of 8th standard was taught the  topic Pest and Their Natural Enemies, Integrated Pest Management.
9 C students were taught Role of Haemoglobin in transport of Oxygen.
Teaching aids were used appropriately based on the topic taught, Follow up works like assignment were given.The reflective journal was also done this week.

OVERALL REFLECTION OF CLASSROOM EXPERIENCE
The students are given teaching manual based activity oriented class room experience. The topic covered in 9C was  role of Haemoglobin in transport of Oxygen'. 8 D was taught the topic Pest and Their Natural Enemies' and 'Integrated Pest Management'.

TEACHING PRACTICE FIRST PHASE WEEK 8 WEEK 8 : Monday to Friday  27/11/2023 to 1/12/2023            Reflection on School experience  I reached the school by 9.30 am and then signed the attendance register and were alloted substitution classes. 27/11/2023 The first day, I had a class in 9C during the fourth period  and I took the topic named "Vital Capacity and Tidal Volume" from the unit Breathing for Energy of their biology textbook using activity method.  I was alloted substitution in 7B and 6 D during the third and sixth  period respectively. I made 6D students to  read a Malayalam poem from their Malayalam textbook and 7 B students, a drawing competition.
