REFLECTION ON SCHOOL EXPERIENCE
4/12/2023
On the first day this week we reached the school by 9.15 a m. After the prayer substitutions were alloted to us. I got substitution class in 9C during the sixth period.
Our general subject teacher Meenu miss reached the school for observation. We were all prepared for the class.
I took the topic different types of excretory products for 9C students using the activity lesson plan. Learning aids like charts and description charts was used. Teacher gave few suggestions for improvement. She asked me to improve focusing on either sides and to keep a slight smile on face while teaching.
During the sixth period I taught them the topic
"Excretory Organs"
At 3.30 p.m the school dispersed after national anthem.

I reached the school by 9.30 a.m.I signed the attendance register and reached the staffroom for prayer.
During the first period I got substition in 9C. I took the attendance and utilised the time for conducting the achievement test on the chapter "Breathing For Energy".
I had class in 9C during the fifth period. I taught them the topic "liver and synthesis of urea."
Thereafter I had substitution in 7D I made them read Malayalam textbook.
During the seventh period I taught them the topic 'formation of sweat'. After signing the register we left the school at 3.30pm.

There were no regular classes due to educational strike by SFI. However we were directed to reach the school. We did the works related to teaching practice.
7/12/2023
In the fourth day we reach the school by sharp 9.30am.
During the first period we conducted the consentization programme on Phone addiction. Students of 8th std. were present. Each of us took a topic related to phone addiction. I was given the topic Impacts of phone addiction.
went to 9B since all topics was completed.
During the 3rd period I went yo 8B for substitution class.
I had class in 8D during the 5th period. I took the topic " 5 kingdom classification". After the lunch during the 6th period I reached I reached 9C and took the class using innovative work on "Kidney and It's Internal Structure".
During the 7th period I had class in 8D on "6 Kingdom classification".
After signing the register we left the school by 3.30 p.m.

On the fifth day we reached the school at 9.30am.
After signing the register we went to staff room.
In the first period I went to 7B for substitution. During the 4th period I had class in 8D on the topic "Virus and it's peculiarities"
It was our last day of the first phase teaching practice. Dear Principal of A.M.M.H.S and all teachers bid as fairwell.
We shared our experiences and Fr. Abu, representing all of us presented the sincere thanks to the school administration for the opportunity. After the programme we signed the attendance register and left the school by 4.00 p.m.
CURRICULAR AND CO CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES

Students of 8B were taught the topics:
Five kingdom Classification
Six kingdom classification
Virus and it's peculiarities
Teaching aids were used appropriately based on topic taught and follow up works like assignment was given.
OVERALL REFLECTION OF CLASSROOM EXPERIENCE
The students are given teaching manual based activity oriented class room experience.
This week achivement test was conducted for 9C on the chapter Breathing For Energy.
Innovative work on the topic "Internal Structure of Kidney was also presented".
