SCA RESHMA

On 26th July 2023 we the teacher trainees of second semester BEd. Our field trip was to kanyakumari.  The main objectives of the field grip was to study the importance of field trip as an excellent method and supplement to provide first hand experiences and meaningful teaching. We started our trip at sharp 5.25am from college. We began our trip seeking the blessings of God.  Upon reaching Neyattinkara we had our breakfast from irani hotel at 7.30am. After breakfast we commenced our journey to Thirparappu water falls. We reached the spot at 9.30. The place was beautiful and serene. Around 11.45 a.m we reached thakkala Palace. We immersed into the historical stories that the chambers of the palace held.  Our guide explained us the historical importance of the palace and the architecture that outsmarts time.  We left the Palace by 1.00pm and started our journey to kanyakumari. July 12, 2023 Criticism class was held in the department of natural science under the supervision of our HOD Sreedevi miss on 10th,12th and 13th July 2023 in Sabarigiri College of Education. All the nine teacher trainees took the class as insisted by teacher.  The duration of Activity enabled and ICT enables was 45 minutes and of the models was 30 minutes. Following the class, teacher gave each trainees feedback and criticism points.  The class was taken using various learning aids. I took the activity enabled class on the topic "Kidney and it's external structure".  My class was conducted on 12th July.  I explained the external structure of Kidney and gave several activities to the pupils. I presented a still model of the external structure of kidney along with descriptive charts.

We the students of sabarigiri college of education conducted a Mehendi competition as part of our NSS unit. The programme was inaugurated by respected principal Dr Meera raj maam.Total 10 groups participated in the mehendi competition.Arts. Pinky and Devika from natural science bagged first prize. Alin and Gatha from maths share the second prize.  And the third prize was shared by three groups. The art of Henna—called mehndi in Hindi and Urdu—has been practiced in Pakistan, India, Africa, and the Middle East for over 5000 years. It was originally used for its natural cooling properties for the people living in hot desert climates. Generally, Arabic (Middle-Eastern) mehndi features large, floral patterns on hands and feet, while Indian (Asian) mendhi uses fine lines, lacy, floral and paisley patterns covering entire hands, forearms, feet and shins; and African mehndi art is large and bold, with geometrically patterned angles
