The birth anniversary of Sardar vallabai Patel the first home minister of Independent India is celebrated as National Unity Day or Rashtriya Ekta Diwas.  And October 31st marks the death anniversary of former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi who was assassinated on this day by two of her own bodyguards in 1984, just five months after a military action at the Golden Temple as part of Operation Blue Star. In memory of both these days we the students of sabarigiri college conducted a candle lighting ceremony. The programme was inaugurated by Sreedevi miss by lighting the candle. A video on  Indira Gandhi was also presented.

TEACHING PRACTICE FIRST PHASE - WEEK 4 9/10/2023 to 11/10/2023 Monday to Wednesday  Reflection on School Experience  9/10/2023 We the teacher trainees alloted to A.M.M.H.S, karavaloor reached the school right at 9.30am. After signimg our register we went to the staffroom for prayer. After the prayer we were alloted substitution classes. Second period I went to 8D for substitution. Since it was a class alloted to me I took class on the topic " Pest and their Natural Enemies".  In the following period I got substitution in 8D again. I took class on the topic  "Integrated Pest Management'". During the fourth period I had class in 9C. I taught them the topic "Role of Haemoglobin in transport of Oxygen". I gave them homework and asked them to study few topics from the chapter Breathing for Energy. After the fifth hour we went for lunch. Usual weekend meeting took place under the guidance of Sreedevi miss.The meeting started at 8.00pm pm on Monday and ends at 8.30pm. In this meeting teacher asked us to share our  experiences. All of us shared our experiences. Teacher asked us about the teaching manual and associated works. 

        October 2, 2023 to Oct 6, 2023                    Teaching Practice          Week 3 : Monday to Friday         Reflection on School Experience 2/10/2023 There was no class as it was a public holiday. 3/10/2023 I reached the college by 9.30 a.m. After signing the attendance, I was alloted substitution periods in class 5B, 9C, 6A, 8B and 6D during the 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th and 7th period respectively. I conducted several activities in 5B, 6A and 8B.  It was fascinating to see a good number of participation from the students. The topic given for the essay writing competition was favourite place or favourite author. A student named Navamy. H bagged the first prize. As in the last week, a weekend reflection was conducted by our HOD sreedevi miss.  She gave several instructions on how to improve our blog writing. She asked us to make necessary changes in classroom experiences, extra curricular activities etc.. The meeting began at 11.30 and was concluded by 12.00 a.m

September 29,2023 Teaching Practice Week 2: Monday to Friday Reflection on School Experience 25/9/2023 Today marked the first day of the second week. The sports day of A.M.M.H.S was conducted today. I reached the college and signed the attendance by 9.15 a.m. Then by 9.40 the teachers came to the staffroom for the prayer. After the prayer the teachers were instructed to go to the respective classes and take the attendance. The inaugural function began by 10.15 a.m. The programme was inaugurated by punalur circle inspector Shri. Suresh Kumar. He cherished his fond memories about his school days and him attending sports days and events at different places. He said "discipline shows  unity".
