The weekly meeting under the guidance of Sreedevi miss took place on Sunday , 26.11.2023 at 7.00 p.m.  In this meeting we shared our experiences and concerns.  All students  shared their experiences. Teacher enquired about the progress in  record work. She mentioned about achievement test and the date it has to be submitted. The meeting was concluded by 8.00 pm.

        Reflection on Teaching practice Week 7                 20/11/2023 to 24/11/2023              Reflection on School Experience  20/11/2023 I reached the school in the usual time and signed the attendance register. I attended the prayer and was alloted the substitution classes for the day.  I got substition in class 7 A during the third period and 8D in sixth period. I had usual class for 9C in the fourth period and I took class on the topic "Types of Fermentation".  In 7A I conducted an essay writing competition on phone addiction and in 8D I conducted the group remedial teaching. A total of 8 students were given group remedial teaching .  Group Remedial Teaching A total of 18 students were given the diagnostic test. Weekend Reflection  As usual the weekend meeting was done under the guidance of our department HOD Ms. Sreedevi on Sunday at 7.30 p.m. The time was utilised to rectify doubts about diagnostic test and achievement test. The meeting began at 7.30 p.m and continued till 8.00 p.m.  Guidance on writing the diagnostic test was discussed. We also shared about our new experiences at school and current status of our lesson plans and other assignments.

         Teaching practice phase 1 week 6             13/11/2023 to 17/11/2023          Reflection on School Experience  13/11/2023 I reached the college by 9.15 a.m. i signed the attendance register and reached the staffroom for prayer. The prayer began by 9.40. After that we were alloted substitution classes. I got substitution in 7C and 5B  for the sixth and seventh period respectively. I conducted few activities for them.  In the 4th period I had class in 9 C . I took the topic process of expulsion of CO2. By 1.00 p.m lunch break began. I went for the substitution classes in the afternoon session. By 3.30 p.m the classes concluded with the national anthem. 14/11/2023 After the prayer I was alloted substitution. As a conclusion to the fifth week of teaching practice our teacher, Sreedevi miss conducted a weekened Reflection . It was conducted online on sunday between 7:15 and 7:45pm via Google meet.  The activities of the week and overall experience of the trainees and the upcoming major assignments were the topics of discussion. Teacher gave us a clear understanding on all assignments and  suggested few corrections in the weekly blog. We also discussed the works that has to be completed in the coming days.  All doubts regarding the diagnostic tests, achievement tests, e textbook and e content was cleared during the session.  All works were suggested to be completed on the dates assigned earlier.

It was our first day in school after our second semester examination. The students were happy to see us back to the school. They asked us about the exams and how it went.  We entered our teaching practice for the first week of November with much interest, enthusiasm and obviously with plans and time table to finish the works at right time. 6/11/2023 Today marked the first day of teaching practice in the month of November. The first year students NSS unit conducted a kaviyarangu programme under the leadership of Sreedevi miss on 4th November. The programme was conducted online by 7.00pm. Principal Meeraraj ma'am inaugurated the programme, the Presidential address was given by Jaseena miss. The programme began with a prayer song. Four students from first year recited malayalam recitations. The recitations were all amazing.  Feedback was given by Sruthi from physical science.  By 7.30 p.m the programme concluded.

FRESHERS DAY CELEBRATION   We the second year students organized fresher’s party for the first year students. The programme was named Ecstacy and the theme was Retro.  The programme began by 11.00 a m with a prayer song. The students were all dressed up according to the theme.  The programme was inaugurated by Sreedevi miss. Following the welcome and introduction the programmes began. The first session was introduction of all students accompanied by a task assigned to them.  It was a prolonged session.  By 12.30 p.m. Then we all went for lunch break. After the lunch began the afternoon session which included saree draping competition, dance etc.. The programme ended by 3.30 p.m.

Capacity building    is the improvement in an individual's or organization's facility to produce, perform or deploy .  Capacity building is the process through which individuals, organisations, and societies obtain, strengthen, and maintain the capabilities to set and achieve their own development objectives over time.  As a part of the BEd Curriculum. It is suggested that a capacity building session be  conducted in the second semester.  Therefore, a programme was conducted by our college management on the topic Stress Management.  The programme was conducted in the college auditorium on 2nd November 2023 on 10a.m. Arya muraleedaran, a psychologist was the resource person for the day. She took class on topics like stress and discussed about stress of teachers as well as students. KERALA PIRAVI CELEBRATION Nov 1, 2023 Kerala piravi is celebrated on November 1 to commemorate the foundation of the state of Kerala.  Kerala Piravi  literally means the birth of Kerala. This day is observed to mark the date on which Malayalam-speaking regions were unified into one state. The first year BEd students in sabarigiri college of education celebrated kerala piravi on 1st November 2023 in our college auditorium. We the second year students and all teachers. There were lot of programmes. There were interesting game series and solo and group song by the first year students. The programme winded up by 1.30 p.m.
